Some days arrive exactly when you need them most. After an intense week, one day out with my favourite people healed something in me I didn't even know was broken.
It started at Åsa boddet in Jönköping — a beautiful lake surrounded by trees, with the most incredible golden evening light. The water was calm, the sky wide open, and for the first time all week I felt like I could breathe again.
Golden hour at Åsa boddet — my heart was so full
We spread a blanket on the grass, flew the drone, and watched the sun melt into the lake. My daughter stood gazing out at the other shore — so still, so in her own world. And that hug by the lake, the sun setting right behind us... I didn't want to let go.
The sky turned orange, then pink, then that deep quiet amber — and none of us wanted to leave.
I looked up and saw this — wings spread wide
Whether you believe in signs or not, something about finding that cloud on this particular day felt tender and right. Like a quiet reminder that goodness is everywhere, if you remember to look up.
Swings, popsicles, and the best kind of laughter
Today, the playground. On that tire swing it was just the two of us — me and my daughter, cheeks pink, laughing, my friend capturing the moment from behind the camera. Then popsicles on the sofa, squeezed together, completely content. This is the stuff.
